With the Grand Départ of the Tour de France 2026 just around the corner, the countdown is already underway in Isère, France. In Voiron and Les Deux Alpes, Gorgy Time's countdown displays are helping build excitement ahead of one of the world's biggest sporting events.
Every summer, the Tour de France captures the attention of millions of cycling fans around the globe. This year, the Isère region will once again play a key role, and Gorgy Time is proud to be part of the adventure.
Our countdown displays, installed in Voiron and Les Deux Alpes, were designed and manufactured at our facility in La Mure, France. Watching them count down the days until the riders arrive is a great source of pride for our entire team.
The official launch brought together cycling legends Bernard Thévenet, Nans Peters and Christian Prudhomme, Director of the Tour de France. The ceremony highlighted not only the excitement surrounding this year's race but also the strong commitment of local communities across Isère.
We would like to warmly thank Joëlle Couet, Head of the Events Department of the Isère County Council, for placing her trust in Gorgy Time.

Special thanks also go to our Sales Engineer Laurent Gasse, whose dedication and close involvement were essential to the success of this project.
For more than 50 years, Gorgy Time has been designing and manufacturing time synchronisation systems, digital clocks and analog clocks in France for transport, defense, healthcare, industry, broadcast and administration.
Being part of the Tour de France 2026 is another reminder that precise timing isn't just about technology – it's about helping create unforgettable moments.
